Central Management

Central Management

This is the brain of the system – the application that must always be running for everything to work. Some of the main features include:

  • Channel monitoring in a network environment
  • Changing the language
  • Creating channels and linking modules
  • Setting file types, subtitles, and viewing logs
  • Generating the EPG file
  • License activation
Playout Server

Playout Server

If Central is the brain, Playout is the heart of the system. This module also needs to run continuously for 24/7 operation. Each active playout allows:

  • Audio & video preview with current file and playlist timers
  • Output configuration: SDI, RTMP, DVB, NDI
  • Audio loudness normalization
Control

Control

This is the main module used by operators and directly affects the live playout. It displays the currently active ON AIR playlist. Key features include:

  • Registering files to database and defining file types
  • Trimming, segmenting, and setting file markers
  • File metadata and subtitle settings
  • Graphic metadata and fixed file preview
  • List operations and file counters
  • Live video preview
  • Manual & automatic graphic playback
  • Inputs: SDI Live, Streams, NDI
  • Scheduled playlist overview
  • Blocks – segment creation within playlists

You can also save and append playlists or skip to the next item.

List Creator

List Creator

Unlike Control, which is an online application, List Creator is an offline tool and cannot directly affect ON AIR playback. The left side of the interface mirrors Control. Playlist setup includes:

  • Defining playlist start time, end time, and total duration for easier planning
  • The right side is focused on playlist building

CG Editor

CG Editor

This module is used for creating graphic templates. You can design any kind of graphic layout you can imagine – from simple to highly complex. Examples include:

  • Picture-in-Picture
  • Now/Next, Promo, Next Up graphics

  • Logo, Clock, Image Sequences, Slideshow
  • Music titles, and more
